Post interview thank you letter - Example 6

Examples of post residency interview thank you letter. Make sure you write it down on these THANK YOU CARDS and send it to the following: program director, chairman, program coordinator, faculty interviewed you and chief residents. You have to send them immediately after the interview as well as 1-2 weeks before the rank deadline.

Sample 6 (Surgery example)


Dear Dr. (Program director or coordinator, Chairman, Chief resident or other interviewers):

Thank you for an enjoyable and impressive day with your Surgery Residency Program. It was a pleasure to meet you and learn more about Surgery at (program). Lunch at the Searle Center was superb and greatly appreciated. At the half way point in the interview season, I can honestly tell you that your Surgery Program has been the most impressive by far. After having the opportunity to take a closer look at your program, I am happy to say that the Surgery Residency Training Program will be one of my top choices.
I look forward to meeting you again in the future, and talking more about the transition from North to South.
