Post interview thank you letter - Example 2

Examples of post residency interview thank you letter. Make sure you write it down on these THANK YOU CARDS and send it to the following: program director, program coordinator, faculty interviewed you and chief residents. You have to send them immediately after the interview as well as 1-2 weeks before the rank deadline.

Sample 2 (Internal Medicine example)

Dear Dr. (Program director or coordinator, Chairman, Chief resident or other interviewers):

I would like to thank you for taking the time to interview me for a position in your internal medicine residency program. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to ........ Hospital and was very impressed with the program. I found the faculty and residents to be helpful in answering all of my questions.
It was a pleasure meeting and talking with you and the other member of the internship selection committee. I appreciated the time and effort that was spent in order to become more familiar with my application.
It was very informative to hear about opportunities in health care administration that exist during residency.
...........Hospital seems to have everything that I am looking for in a residency program.
Once again, thank you for the opportunity to interview for a position in your internal medicine residency program. I hope you will seriously consider me for a residency position. I look forward for the opportunity to work with you in the future.
